PAULINE MAYHEW CLOWER

Pauline Mayhew Clower,  86,  of Romney, WV,  died February 6, 2012 at the Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.   She was born on October 17, 1925 in Romney, WV, the daughter of the late Gustell and Mary Edna (Dean) Mayhew.    Besides her parents, Mrs. Dean was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Osceola Clower;  one son,   Earl Kenneth Clower;  one grandson, Markus Clower;  three brothers:  Arthur Richard Mayhew, James Ralph Mayhew, and Robert Dailey Mayhew.

Mrs. Clower retired from the Hampshire County Board of Education where she served at various schools as a Teacher’s Aid.  She is  survived by: one  Son:  Roy C. Clower and wife Susie, Romney, WV; one  Daughter:  Jo Ann Kremer and husband Robert, Rices Landing, PA; one  Brother:  Ray M. Mayhew, Romney, WV; six  Grandchildren:  Robert Kremer, Jeffrey Kremer, Matt  Clower, Robie Clower, Christie Clower and Chad Clower; seven  Great Grandchildren:  Kasey Clower, Travis Clower, Joe Clower, Savannah Kremer, Finley Kremer, Ronin Kremer and Kaitlyn Kremer.

The family will receive friends at the Shaffer Funeral Home on Thursday, February 9, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.    The funeral will be at the Shaffer Funeral Home on Friday, February 10 at 11:00 a.m. with  Pastor Kenneth D. Caplinger officiating.  Interment  will be at Indian Mound Cemetery, Romney, WV.  Memorials may be made to the Hampshire County Committee of Aging.

 

MARY ESTER WALKER

Mary Ester Walker, 81, of Romney, WV,  died Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.  

Mrs. Walker was born on June 17, 1930 in Bridgewater, VA, the  daughter of the late Blair G. and Mary Lee Willis. She was also  preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Joseph Walker, one son, Rolland “Ricky” Willis; one brother, Woodrow Lee;  and two sisters, Gertrude Lee and Betty Willis.

Mrs. Walker worked as a domestic in Romney raising many children and taking care of her “families”.  Church was a main focal point in her life.  She was a member of Mt. Pisgah United  Methodist Church where she served as secretary- treasurer.  She loved to sing and was active in the choir.  Mrs. Walker loved to play bingo and was known as a fine cook.  She never forgot a birthday and until the end, sent cards with money to grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Walker was a fine mother to a daughter and son.

Surviving are one daughter Billie Lang and husband, Travis, Berryville, VA; three Grandchildren:  Troy Willis, Terry Bullett, and Zelda Younger; five  Great Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends at the Shaffer Funeral Home, Romney, WV on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from 6-8 pm.  The funeral service will be Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Shaffer Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m.  with Dr. Roy Knight officiating.  Interment  will be at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Romney, WV. Memorials may be made to the Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church, Romney, WV.

 

STANLEY EUGENE COMBS

Stanley Eugene Combs, 77, of Romney, WV,  died Friday, February 3, 2012 at the Winchester Medical Center surrounded by his family.  

He was born on May 22, 1934 in Shanks, WV, the  son of the late Raymond Arthur and Pearl Estelle (Hott) Combs and also  was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Rae (Link)  Combs.

Stanley attended the Covenant Baptist Church, Romney, WV and owned Comb’s Excavating and built many homes  in the area.  He is  survived by his fiancée Zanna Mathias, Augusta, WV; one  son:  Shannon E. Combs and wife, Natalie, Romney, WV; three  Daughters:  Lana L. Crites and husband, Randall, Moorefield, WV, Vanessa A. Haines and husband, Steve, Shanks, WV and Valerie J. Hinkle and husband, Steve, Moorefield, WV; four  Sisters:  Frances Kesner and husband Dale, Antioch, WV;  Ruth Abe and husband Virgil, Ft. Ahsby, WV,  Betty Ludwig and husband Carl, Baker, WV, and Donna Pyles and husband David, Ft. Ashby, WV; eight  Grandchildren  and five step-grandchildren; four  great grandchildren; special friend, Jennifer Nazelrod add Uncle Arno Hott and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Shaffer Funeral Home, Romney, WV on Monday, February 6, 2012 from 6-8 p.m.  Funeral services will be at the Covenant Baptist Church, Romney, WV, Tuesday, February 7 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Quentin Simpson and Pastor Denzil Davis officiating.  Interment  will be at Mt. Dale Cemetery, Shanks, WV.   The family requests that memorials be made to the Shaffer Funeral Home to help with  funeral expenses.

 

MELVIN ODELL SLONAKER

Melvin Odell Slonaker,  92,  of Romney, WV,  died Monday, January 30, 2012 at Hampshire Center, Romney, WV. 

Mr. Slonaker was born on November 26, 1919 in Capon Bridge, WV, the  son of the late Carl Melvin and Gertrude Idame (Brooks) Slonaker.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Slonaker was preceded in death by one brother, Afton Slonaker and one sister, Geraldine Slonaker.

Mr. Slonaker attended the Romney Assembly of God Church; was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion Hampshire Post 91, Romney, WV.  He retired from the Kinney Shoe Company where he worked in security and maintenance and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Arbula Shockey Slonaker, one  Son:  Melvin Lee Slonaker and wife, Rose, Romney, WV; two  Daughters:  Evelyn Slonaker, Petersburg, WV and Darlene Goodwin and husband, Bobby, Westernport, MD; three  Grandchildren:  Karen Slonaker, Christy Pownall and Don Allan Gank; and eight  Great Grandchildren

The family will receive friends at the Shaffer Funeral Home, Romney, WV on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 from 6-8 p.m.  Funeral services will be Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Shaffer Funeral Home with Pastor James Mou  officiating.  Interment  will be at Ebenezer Cemetery, Romney, WV

 

ANNA KATHERINE (KENNEY) KIDWELL

Anna Katherine (Kenney) Kidwell,  88,  of Romney, WV  died January 4, 2012 at the Hampshire Center, Romney, WV.  She was born on June 7, 1923 in Levels, WV, the 

daughter of the late Patrick and Mary Frances (Snyder) Kenney.    Besides her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Lynus M. Kidwell, Dec. 24, 1973;  three brothers:  Bernard Kenney,  Brian Kenney, and Donald Kenney.

Mrs. Kidwell retired after 22 years from Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, MD as unit secretary.  She was a member of the Romney First United Methodist Church, the chorus of the GFWC of Romney and enjoyed swimming at the Hampshire Wellness Center.

She is survived by: one  son:  Mark Kidwell and wife, Mary, Mooresville, NC; and one  Daughter:  Lynda Breznitsky and husband, Tom, Scotch Plains, NJ; three  Brothers:  Aven Kinney, Levels, WV,  Leo Kinney, Levels, WV and Allen Kinney, Henderson, KY; four Grandchildren:  Erin and Ryan Breznitsky and Derek and Rachel Kidwell.

The family will receive friends at the Shaffer Funeral Home, Romney, WV  on Sunday , January 8, 2012 from 6-8 pm.  Funeral services  will be Monday, January 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Romney First United Methodist Church  with Dr. Roy Knight officiating.  Interment  will be at Indian Mound Cemetery, Romney, WV.

 

LOY ANDREW "ANDY" WAGONER

Loy Andrew “Andy” Wagoner, 53, died December 26, 2011 in Washington DC.  “Andy” was born on January 16, 1958 in Chicago, IL, the son of Loy Addison and  Ann Rich Wagoner.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Rich Wagoner.

Andy and his family moved from Chicago to Springfield, VA when he was 5 years old.   As a child, there were many happy times enjoyed with his family. With pencil and paper, it was obvious Andy had a gift for art and drawing.  His imagination was unlimited.  During his teenage years, Andy dealt with many emotional issues and eventually drug abuse which led to a life of instability and constant struggles.  For the last 20+ years, Andy lived on and survived the streets of Washington, DC.  In his unusual social circles, he was known to have been extremely kind hearted and generous, usually at his own expense.  Andy had been hospitalized and in intensive care for months after having been hit by a car in Washington, DC in late September, 2011.  During this time, it became evident that Andy had been cared about by many people, mostly, complete strangers.

“Andy” is survived by his father, Loy Addison Wagoner of Annapolis, MD and Springfield, WV.; one daughter; Michelle Zolkowski of Woodbridge, VA., his brother; Carter Rich Wagoner of Romney, WV, and his infant granddaughter; Layla Zolkowski of Woodbridge, VA.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 7th, 2012, 11 AM at The Wagoner Farm, Ft. Ashby.  Interment will be at the Wagoner Farm Cemetery, Ft. Ashby, WV.

WILLARD "BILL" ELZIE BERGDOLL, JR.

Willard “Bill” Elzie Bergdoll, Jr.,  60, of Romney, WV,   died January 3, 2012 at his residence. He was born on April 30, 1951 in Springfield, WV,  the son of Elsie Elizabeth (Didawick)  Bergdoll, Romney, WV and the late Willard Elzie Bergdoll, Sr.  Besides his father, “Bill” was preceded in death by one sister, Phyllis Grapes.

“Bill”  graduated  from Hampshire High School Class of 1970, and  attended the Covenent Baptist Church, Romney, WV.   “Bill” delivered oil to many people in Hampshire County and retired in December 2011 from the WV Department of Highways.  Bill loved to play bass guitar, having performed in several bands including performances in area churches;  was an avid hunter and fisherman; and loved old cars, having restored his dad’s 1971 Chevrolet Custom 10 which he enjoyed taking to car shows.

“Bill” is survived by his wife Peggy Ann (Wagoner) Bergdoll; one Son:  Willard E. “Billy” Bergdoll, III and wife, Carolyn, Romney, WV; one  Daughter:  Billie Jo “Jody” Vance and husband, Mark, Winchester, VA; two  Sisters:  Linda Hill, Evans, WV and Patricia Gayle Bergdoll, Romney, WV; four  Grandchildren:  Madison, Sydney, and Logan Bergdoll, Romney, WV and Markayla Vance, Winchester, VA.

The family will receive friends at the Shaffer Funeral Home, Romney, WV on Saturday,  January 7, 2012 from 6-8 p.m.   The funeral service will be Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Shaffer Funeral Home  with Quentin Simpson, Minister officiating.  Interment  will be at Ebenezer Cemetery, Romney, WV.

 

HELEN MAY MCGEE WILKINS

Helen May McGee Wilkins, 96,  of Church Hill, TN formerly of Romney, WV,  died December  31, 2011 at the Brook Haven Nursing Home, Kingsport, TN.  Mrs. Wilkins

was born on June 18, 1915 in Piedmont, WV, the  daughter of the late David Daniel and Stella Edna (Summers) Clayton.   Besides her parents, Mrs. Wilkins was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald R. McGee in 1977 and her second husband, Russell L. Wilkins in 1987;  two brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Wilkins was born in Piedmont, moved to Romney as a teen and lived here off and on for 70 years.  She was a member of the Romney Church of the Brethren.  She owned a general store in Purgitsville, worked at the H-P Store and the Kinney Shoe Factory and enjoyed interacting with people .  In Winchester, She worked at the “Town and Country” which later became Zayres.  Mrs. Wilkins was devoted to her church no matter where she lived.  She enjoyed camping and fishing with her family.  After the death of her first husband, Donald R. McGee, she married her friend and neighbor, Russell L. Wilkins.  They enjoyed antiquing and selling antiques.  Her sons and family were a source of great joy to her.

She is survived by two sons: James D. McGee, Sr. and wife, Janet, Church Hill, TN and  L. Dale McGee, Magnolia, Texas, 16 Grandchildren and many, many other family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Arnold Cemetery, Junction, WV with Rev. Brian Moreland officiating.  Interment will be  at Arnold Cemetery, Junction, WV.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses. 

FREDERICK "CHUB" CECIL HARTMAN

Frederick “Chub” Cecil Hartman, 85, of Burlington, WV, died Saturday,  December 31, 2011 at Dawn View Manor, Ft. Ashby, WV.  He was born on June 13, 1926 in Junction, WV, the son of the late Cecil Wright and Georgia Ethel (Smith) Hartman.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one  brother,  Paul R. Hartman.

Mr. Hartman was a member of the Mt. Olive United Methodist Church and a veteran of the Korean War having served in the U.S. Army.  He farmed most of his life. 

Surviving are four Brothers:  James L. Hartman and wife, Betty, Burlington, WV, Ted E. Hartman and wife, Aimee, Keyser, WV, Steve C. Hartman and wife, Delores, Keyser, WV and Carl J. Hartman and wife, Carolyn Jean, Haymarket, VA; one  Sister:  Carol J. Smith, Augusta, WV; and one  Sister-in-law:  Bertha Hartman, Woodbridge, VA.

The family will receive friends at the Shaffer Funeral Home, Romney, WV on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 6-8 p.m.  The funeral service will be Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Shaffer Funeral Home with Rev. Ted E. Hartman officiating assisted by Rev. Michael Goldizen.   Interment  will be at Elijah High Cemetery, Purgitsville, WV.

 

PEGEEN KAY VEGA


Pegeen Kay Vega, 62, of Fayetteville, NC formerly of Romney, WV,  died Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Hampshire Center, Romney, WV.  Pegeen was born on February 3, 1949 in Cumberland, MD, the daughter of Roberta Roll Miller, Romney,  WV  and the late James Edward Miller.

Pegeen was a graduate of Hampshire High School, Class of l967, and  was formerly married to Thomas A. Nichols of Shanks, WV.  She was self-employed as a paint contractor for the last 15 years in Fayetteville, NC.  She loved Jesus and shared his message of love with everyone she met.

Surviving are: three  sons:  Thomas A. Nichols, II and wife, Shannon,  Dr. Timothy J. Nichols and wife, Kristina, Romney, WV and Colby S. Nichols and wife, Suzy, Augusta, WV; two Daughters:  Kimberly L. Grace and husband, Darren, Springfield, WV; Kelli S. Corbin and husband, Ronnie, Clay Center, Kansas; one  Brother:  James Edward Miller, II and wife, Susan, Romney, WV and four  Sisters:  Linda Snell and husband, Jerry, Naples, FL, Leana Baker, Romney, WV, Jalene Curran and husband, Michael, Burlington, WV and Bobbi Glass and husband, Richard L.,  Asheville, NC; eleven Grandchildren:  McKenna and Parker Grace, Scottie and Kali Corbin, Brandon Costello, Morgan and Bridget Nichols, Canyon and Maysa Nichols, and Liam and Olivia Nichols, two Great Grandchildren:  Easton Corbin and Kiera Costello and  many nieces and nephews

THEODORE "TED" NEIL BISHOFF

Theodore “Ted” Neil Bishoff, 76,  of Green Spring, West Virginia,  died Saturday, December 10, 2011 at West Virginia University Hospital, Morgantown, WV.   He was born on September 26, 1935 in Aurora, WV, the  son of the late Arthur Herman and Nina Otis (Taymen) Bishoff.  Besides his parents, Mr. Bishoff was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Doyle Bishoff and one sister, Dorothy Stevens.

Ted’s interests and pursuits were many.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman, particularly in Montana, his favorite place.  He also enjoyed annual fishing trips to Canada for many years. Ted’s experiences included traveling the trail of Lewis and Clark, smoke jumping, coon dog breeding, and a special affection for helping others and supporting the communities of which he was a part.  Throughout his life, he owned many businesses, flew for NASA and was in the Air Force 28th Air Base Group of Ellsworth Air Force Base.  Ted belonged to VFW Post #3008,

Mr. Bishoff is survived by his wife, Kimberly Ann (Jones) Bishoff, three  Sons:  Dallas N. Bishoff and Patricia Adams, Santa Fe, New Mexico,  Brett A. Bishoff and wife, Deb, Cincinnati, Ohio, and John A. Snyder, Myersdale, PA; two  Daughters:  Julie A. Bishoff, Springfield, WV and Marianne Brown, Cumberland, MD; two  Brothers:  Willard A. Bishoff, Frederick, MD and Milton H. Bishoff, Dunwoody, GA; ten Grandchildren:  Alex, Erika, Aaron, Skyler, Shiloh, Teddy, Tamara, Tahlea, Tessa, and Xavier; and one  Great Grandson: William Daniel Bishoff

The family will receive friends at the Shaffer Funeral Home, Romney, WV on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.   The funeral will be Thursday, December 15 at 11:00 a.m. at the Shaffer Funeral Home  with Pastor Michael L. ROBERT ALLEN WRIGHT

Robert Allen Wright, 82, of Romney, WV and Carroll County, MD, died November 21, 2011 at Hampshire Center, Romney, WV.  He was born on November 29, 1928 in Maryland, the son of the late Charles Wright and Margaret Nickoles Lee.

Surviving are his loved ones: Margie Domer-Wright, Wanda Whetzel, Linda Wright, Tammy Sehorn and Tracy Cristello; four brothers: Michael and wife Jennifer, William and wife Betty, Charles and wife Shirley, Thomas and wife Carol; four sisters: Betty, Josephine, Nancy and husband Carson Osborne and Peggy; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He has been a longtime member of the Romney Moose and was the owner of Wright Construction Company in Sykesville, MD until he retired.  He traveled to all 50 states and met many, many people whose friendships he treasured.  He loved to hunt, had a prize winning jumping mule named Scooter and raised some of the best coon and bear dogs.

WILLIAM ENSLEY HICKS, SR.

William Ensley Hicks, Sr., 88, of  Romney, WV,  died Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Heartland of Preston County, Kingwood, WV.   Mr. Hicks was born on February 6, 1923 in Glenfield, PA, the son of the late John and Maude (Feitt) Hicks.   Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Thelma Berg Hicks whom he married in 1945; one son, William Ensley Hicks, Jr. and one sister, Dorothy Wilson.   

A WWII veteran,   Bill volunteered to serve in the U.S. Army Air Corps at 19 years of age.  He served with the 13th Air Force, 868th Bomb Squadron (B-24 Liberators) in the Pacific Theater from September 7, 1942 until December 15, l945.  He was a member of the American Legion Hampshire Post #92 and the VFW Wappocomo Post 1101 both of Romney.  Bill retired from Western Union after 35 years of service as a Microwave Communications Supervisor.  Bill was a member of the Romney Presbyterian Church since 1964 and  served five terms as Mayor of Romney and six terms on the City Council.  Bill was President of the Planning & Zoning Commission, Vice President of the PVTA , the WV Solid Waste Authority and Secretary of the Upper Potomac Area Agency on Aging.  He also served on the Region 8 Planning and Development Council, the Region 8 Solid Waste Authority-Executive Committee, the Fort Mill Ridge Foundation, the Loy Foundation, the Hampshire County Development Authority, the Hampshire County Business and Professional Organization, the Hampshire County Infrastructure Council, and the PVTA Executive Committee. Bill volunteered with the Boy Scouts for 35 years, was an avid HAM Radio operator for over 60 years and in 2008  was chosen Knight of Olde Hampshire.

Surviving are  three Sons:  Ronald J. Hicks and wife, Rochelle, Reedsville, WV,  Larry M. Hicks and wife, Sue,  Chapel Hill, NC and Richard H. Hicks and wife, Becky Moore, Parsons, WV; one Daughter:  Diane Hicks Cox and Marty Peterson, Lexington Park, MD; one  Sister:  Sally Baust, Pittsburg, PA; eight  Grandchildren:  William E. Hicks III, John Hicks, and Jason Hicks, all of Romney, WV,  Kelby Hicks, Cambridge, UK;  Courtlin Hicks, Kingwood, WV; Brittany Hicks, Allentown, PA; Tristan Hicks, Morgantown, WV;  and Breanna Peterson, Lexington Park, MD and six  Great Grandchildren: John, Christian, Grant, Amelia, Vanessa & Ross Hicks.

The family will receive friends at the Shaffer Funeral Home in Romney, WV on Monday, Nov.14, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.  The funeral service will be at the Romney Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m.  with Pastor Barbara Johnson officiating.  Interment with military rites will be at Indian Mound Cemetery, Romney, WV.  Memorials  may be made to the hospice of choice.

 

MARGARET "MARGIE" E. RUSSELL

Margaret “Margie” E. Russell,  74, of Augusta, WV, died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011, at home. She was born on October 11, 1937 in Cambridge, MD, the daughter of the late William and Margaret Kober Condon.

Margie and Jack moved to Hampshire County in 1992, coming from Beltsville, MD.  Margie worked as a legal secretary for the Smithsonian, Washington DC for many years.  She had many interests, primarily art and painting.

Surviving are her husband; John “Jack” Russell, two Brothers; William Condon,  Minnesota and James Condon, Nebraska;  two Sisters:  Rita Morici, Illinois and Eleanor Pascke, Florida. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Romney, WV.  Interment will be at a later date.

 

BARBARA LOUISE SHELLEY

Barbara Louise Shelley,  78, of  Romney, WV died Friday, Nov. 4, 2011 in Romney.  She was born on August 13, 1933, in Aurora, IL, the daughter of the late  Colin Canaday and Mabel Hurrie Canaday.  Barbara was preceded in death by one  brother; Donald Canaday.

Barbara was born in Aurora, IL where she met and married Bill.  They moved to the Phoenix area for a short time, then moved to Mohnton, PA for 28 years where they raised their three daughters.  When returning to Mohnton from their youngest daughter’s wedding, they passed thru Romney during Heritage days and soon decided to make Romney their place to retire.  Barbara was a Registered Nurse and practiced in IL, AZ and PA.  She was a lifetime member of Eastern Star, a member of the Romney Women’s Club, The National Herb Society and The First United Methodist Church of Romney.  Barbara enjoyed sewing, cooking, and loved to garden, however, her primary focus was always her family and raising and educating her girls.

Surviving are her husband, William F. Shelley,  and  daughters; Susan Baker of Burke, VA,  Karen Meck of Mohnton, PA and J. Stebbins-Shelley of Palm Dale, CA.

Barbara will be remembered during regular church services on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011 at 10 AM at Romney First United Methodist Church, Romney, WV, by Dr.  Roy Knight.  Interment will be private.

 

RONALD HOUSTON GRUBBS

Ronald Houston Grubbs, 71,  of Romney, WV, died  Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011 at Winchester Medical Center.  He was born on April 4, 1940 in Baltimore, MD, the son of the late Houston Charles Grubbs and Frances Martha Grubbs (Galloway)

Ron and his wife moved to Hampshire County approx. 20 years ago, coming from the Carroll County, MD area.  Prior to that, he spent many summers in this area visiting and decided to make this area home.  Ron worked for Black & Decker and also worked construction for many years.  He loved to hunt, fish and anything else that had to do with the outdoors.  When not able to be outside, Ron enjoyed watching CNN and a bowl of ice cream.  Ron will be remembered for his kind heart and being good to others.

Surviving are his wife; Jean Marie Grubbs; three sons; Stanley H. Grubbs of Manchester, MD, Billy Joe Grubbs of Snydersburg, MD and Timothy W. Seigman of Gettysburg, PA; one  daughter; Jo Ann Grubbs of Melrose, MD; one  sister; Patricia D. Hobson and her husband Eugene of Bellfonte, PA and six grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the Shaffer Funeral Home in Romney, WV on Monday, Nov. 7, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.  The funeral service will be at Shaffer Funeral Home on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011 at 10:00 AM.  With    David Marino and Shawn Hobson officiating.  Interment will be in   Dulaney Memorial Park, Timonium, MD
