October 2009 Obituaries ROBERT WALKER AYLOR Robert Walker Aylor, 52, of Romney, WV died October 23, 2009 at his residence after a long illness. He was born on July 12, 1957 at Chanute AFB, Illinois, the son of Thomas Frederick Aylor, Winnie, Texas and Loretta Ann (Gooding) Aylor, Hampstead, MD. Mr. Aylor was a landscaper in the Maryland and Romney, WV area. In addition to his parents, he is survived by: his companion and friend, Janet Ganoe, Romney, WV; one Daughter: Tammy Marie Jameson, Bowie, MD; two Sons: Thomas Carl Aylor, Orange, VA and Eric Marcus Ganoe, Romney, WV; three Brothers: David Aylor, Frederick, Md, Michael Aylor, Hampstead, MD, and Chuck Aylor, Edgewater, MD; two Sisters: Debra Powell, Myrtle Beach, SC and Denise Malenski, Severn, MD; seven Grandchildren: Tyler, Jasmine, Jordan and Trista Jameson; Brandi and Caylen Aylor and Rian Ganoe; two Nieces: Angela Story, Myrtle Beach, SC and Brandy Aylor, Hampstead, MD and two Nephews: Steven Opshal, College Park, MD and Joseph Malenski, Severn, MD. A memorial service was held Sunday at the residence of Mr. Aylor with Chaplain Stephon Reed officiating. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Shaffer Funeral Home, Inc., 230 E. Main St., Romney, WV 26757 to help with funeral expenses. ANNABELL LEE DAVIDSON Annabell Lee Davidson, 79, of Springfield, WV, died Thursday, October 22, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Davidson was born on June 7, 1930 in Springfield, WV, the daughter of the late John W. and Irena Lee (Lewis) Crock. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Milton L. Davidson, February 22, 2000; two brothers: Lonnie and Lester Crock; and two sisters: Pauline Sulser and Evelyn Corbin. Mrs. Davidson was an employee of the Kinney Shoe Corporation, Romney, WV and attended the Springfield United Methodist Church, Springfield, WV. She is survived by: |
