LARRY KENNETH DAVIS

Larry Kenneth Davis, 62, of Romney, WV  died April 11, 2010 at the Winchester Medical Center,  Winchester, VA .  Larry was born on April 26, 1947 in Romney, WV, the son of the late Anna Katherine Smith.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Calvin and Gary Davis.  Larry was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose # 1471, Romney, WV for 44 years having held various offices including Governor.  He was a truck driver, an employee of New England Seal Coating, Hingham, MA  and a bartender for the Moose Lodge in Romney for 12 years.  There was a never a dull moment as long as he was around and he will be sadly missed by his family.

Larry is survived by his wife, Donna Jean (Ceroli) Davis; one  Son:  Larry Kenneth Davis, II, Romney; one  Daughter:  Amy Davis Lee and husband, Shane, Romney; two  Brothers:  Donnie L. Davis and Connie A. Davis and wife, Dorothy, Romney, WV; two Sisters:  Carol Eversole, Romney and Debra Flack, Sapulpa, OK; and one  Step-Granddaughter:  Olivia Lee; and his two special buddies,  Puddles and Bruno.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, School St., Romney, WV,  with Father William J. Kuchinsky officiating.  Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Romney, WV.  Memorials may be made to the Larry Davis Memorial Fund, % FNB, 105 N. High St., Romney, WV  26757 for the purpose of purchasing a memorial block for the Hampshire Trojan Sports Complex Wall of Honor.
